Kirsten Shull is the founder of Sjøl Designs, a full-service interior design company located in the greater Reno/Tahoe area. She creates extraordinary interiors that are reflective of each individual client’s taste mixed with growing trends of design. Her interior design expertise includes new construction and remodel projects with an emphasis on kitchen and bath designs.
At the start of our design projects, we like to begin with an inspiration, something that sets the tone for the rest of the design. Working together to set that tone helps create the design and we follow that with 3D renderings so you can see the design come to life. Our clients enjoy being heard in terms of what is important to them, that can be overall design, working within a certain style or budget consideration.
Using the program, SketchUp, designers get the opportunity to take their architectural design ideas and the clients visions for their home and bring them to life. This state of the art technology can show clients how the furniture fits in the space, the tile layout, lighting, and even how the texture of their floors are going to look in their home.
When it comes to building a new home or remodeling your current home, an interior designer can help guide you through the process. Sjøl Designs is a full-service company, which means that they will work with you starting from the ground up all the way through furnishing. On top of design, we will bridge the gap between our clients, the architects and the contractors, making the process easier for both parties.
Sjøl designs was founded in 1999 with the idea of creating individually inspired design. After many years of schooling and working alongside amazing designers, Kirsten learned that interior design is very personalized. Our focus has and will always be on our clients.
